The eucalypt tree is native to Australia. There are approx. 900 species which produce different coloured, flavoured and denseness honeys. Sometimes different species flowers at the same time in the same forest, making it too hard for the beekeeper to determine the type of honey that is being produced. This is called a natural blend. So we just call it eucalypt, not always the same, but always a good flavour. Australia produces the finest honey in the world because of the eucalypt tree.
